We are proud to introduce our Executive Chef, Abou Kouyate.  Chef Abou is affectionately referred to as The Imperial Restaurant’s “Signature Chef”, and brings a skill set that is influenced from several key regions of the world (including his grandmother).  He conveys modern farm cooking to the forefront and enhances their already-flavorful plant-based menu into delicious culinary options. His vegan choices are delightfully prepared and judged as the most tasteful healthy options. Originally from Africa, Chef has a vast knowledge of Regional spices that enhances the flavor of many dishes.  You can explore his American favorites or his adventurous global dishes.  Whichever you choose, your taste buds will be tantalized!

Chef Abou also provides key leadership in The Imperial Restaurant and The Imperial Ballrooms to ensure the finest presentation of the most delicious food you will ever taste!  He ensures that every Chef has the confidence and ability to deliver consistent cuisine for one plate or 400 plates.

Chef has an impressive resume serving at several renowned restaurants, Conference Centers and Country Clubs.  He speaks 12 international languages and enjoys spending any free time with his daughter.
